The Las Vegas Wash carries greater than 200 million gallons of water per day, fed by reclaimed water, city runoff, shallow groundwater and stormwater. On the Clark County Wetlands Park, the wash run by means of wetlands that cleans the water by filtering out contaminants. The wash connects the Las Vegas Valley with Lake Mead and the Colorado River.
