Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Las Vegas, Nevada

Las Vegas Motor Speedway, located in Clark County, Nevada about 15 miles northeast of the Las Vegas Strip, is a 1,200-acre (490 ha) complex of multiple tracks for automobile racing. It is home to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Kobalt Tools 400. The first NASCAR Sprint Cup (then Winston Cup) event was held March 1, 1998 with Mark Martin winning the inaugural event.
