Vintage Las Vegas

\"Vintage

Neon signage from the 1950s and 60s. From the "Viva Las Vegas" book.
"Flamingo, 1953, Pereira and Luckman.
Memories of the original Flamingo were swept away by the dazzling 1953 remodel, often mistakenly referred to as the original. It stretched a modernistic colonnade of glowing columns all the way to the Strip, where a tower of neon rings bubbledlight into the desert sky. Beyond be seen the dune’s sultan astride his porte cochere."

There were many great hotel signs in Las Vegas in the day, but as a child this tower and the second Stardust sign were my favorites!
