Las Vegas has a new resident. Sin City Sindy is a 31-foot-tall custom-built stripper in red thigh-high stockings and black corset and bustier who proudly stands in front of The Stripper Bar at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile. Since Sindy strikes a seductive poses at the entry way, guests get to walk between her legs to get inside of the bar. Human behavior tells us that at least some will try to take a peek up Sindy’s skirt as they walk under. A hidden camera then snaps the guilty or delighted expressions, and the evidence is yours to take home as a souvenir photo from the Strip Club Capital of the World. It took 10 months to design and build Sin City Sindy. She is a collaboration of David Saxe and his wonderful graphics team. Sindy arrived at her new home on March 26, 2010. At a cost of $150,000, Sindy is a costly stripper. She was hand-carved out of huge blocks of Styrofoam and then supported from the inside with a steel structure before the Fiberglass shell was sprayed on and hand-painted. She weighs more than 2,500 pounds and was brought into Miracle Mile in two pieces and then reassembled. Let’s welcome Sindy to the strip in TRUE Vegas style. Have a look up her skirt *wink*
