Christmas in Las Vegas 2011_Day 8

On Friday, December 23, 2011; later in the afternoon, Jim and Judy drove to downtown Las Vegas and parked. We walked along the covered portion of Fremont Street. We ate supper at Du-Par’s in the Golden Gate Hotel and Casino. Afterward I danced the Cupid Shuffle with the crowd at the DJ’s station. We watched tourists and Santa Claus zipline underneath the canopy. We sat down in the outdoor patio at Krispy Kreme for some donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate as we watched the show overhead. Finally we watched a Christmas show with singers and dancers on the outdoor stage before driving back to the Grand Desert.
