Las Vegas police search assist discovering man who threw canine in dumpster

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro police are asking for assist figuring out a person accused of throwing a canine right into a dumpster.

Animal Safety Companies responded to the decision about an animal abuse incident round 9 a.m. Monday on the 5500 block of Sheila Avenue, close to Jones Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue.

A neighbor discovered the canine on Tuesday, 8 Information Now reported that day. The canine was recovering and was “doing fine,” police mentioned Wednesday.

“I don’t care what this dog did; there is no excuse for the abuse that this dog just had to endure,” Lindsey Pinapfel, a Vegas Pet Rescue Mission volunteer, mentioned Tuesday.

The incident follows the revival of “Reba’s Law” within the Nevada Legislature, which goals to implement harsher penalties on animal cruelty convictions.
