Twilight in Las Vegas – Explore

Las Vegas Boulevard
Las Vegas, NV

The area that is Las Vegas today had several sources of water and during the 1800s and early 1900s became a water stop along a trail to Los Angles. Work on the Hoover Dam began during 1931 and the population of the city grew from about 5,000 to 25,000. Who would have ever imagined what it would become.
This photo was captured through glass from of the Wynn’s sister tower, the Encore. At times, I’ve had awful visible window reflections, but other times, things seem to work well. In this photo, some reflection can be seen at the lower right. I had the room drapes closed behind me, but light from the outside still reflected off of me. To make matters worse, the window has two panes of glass which can cause double reflections. The camera was hand held.
