Family-Friendly Bash Packs in the Fun
Thousands of fans can expect a morning filled with baseball-themed entertainment before the first pitch. The Big League Weekend Bash takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Downtown Summerlin, just steps from Las Vegas Ballpark.[1]
Activities cater to all ages with A’s alumni making appearances for meet-and-greets. A speed pitch activation lets participants test their throwing arms, while face painters and balloon artists add festive touches. A live DJ keeps the energy high, and the A’s Cast broadcasts live from the site.[1]

Prime-Time Games Highlight the Weekend
The fan fest seamlessly transitions into the on-field action. The A’s face the Angels in a two-game series at Las Vegas Ballpark, starting at 1:05 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.[3][1]
These spring training contests offer fans an early look at the A’s roster under the Las Vegas lights. Tickets went on sale in November, drawing strong interest from the local community.[3]
The proximity of Downtown Summerlin to the ballpark makes it easy for attendees to enjoy the fest and catch the game without missing a beat.

Youth and Community Initiatives Shine
The A’s extend their engagement beyond the fan fest. On Sunday, a Pitch, Hit and Run competition runs from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Desert Breeze Park, open to Southern Nevada youth baseball players.[1]
This MLB-sanctioned skills event tests pitching, hitting, and running abilities. Registration occurred online through a dedicated platform.
The team also backed Nevada Reading Week and joined several Little League Opening Day ceremonies in the lead-up to the weekend. These efforts underscore the A’s commitment to local families and future stars.
Las Vegas Emerges as A’s New Home Base
Big League Weekend previews the A’s deeper ties to Las Vegas. The team schedules its first regular-season games here in June, hosting the Milwaukee Brewers from June 8-10 and the Colorado Rockies from June 12-14 at Las Vegas Ballpark.[1]
Such events build momentum for the franchise’s relocation. Past Big League Weekends have drawn enthusiastic crowds, blending MLB action with community spirit.
