Culinary Union strike at Virgin Motels ends on day 69 after settlement reached

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An settlement was reached between the Culinary Union and Virgin Motels Las Vegas, ending a strike that lasted greater than 60 days.

Based on a joint assertion from the events, a brand new 5-year union contract was ratified on Wednesday by a 100% vote. This vote ended the strike that started on Nov. 15, 2024.

Virgin Motels Las Vegas and the Culinary Employees Union Native 226 and Bartenders Union Native 165 have come to an settlement on the phrases upon which they’re ready to settle their new Collective Bargaining Settlement.

Virgin Motels Las Vegas and the Culinary and Bartenders Unions are happy to be shifting previous their contract negotiations as every seems ahead to fostering a constructive and collaborative working relationship for the advantage of all workforce members on the property. 

Events are dedicated to the decision of our dispute and to sustaining a union normal at Virgin Motels Las Vegas that gives for its workforce members’ households and fosters a greater group for all.
