The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division reported that the crash occurred on West Hacienda Avenue, west of South Decatur Boulevard. Authorities acknowledged that the scooter rider was crossing Decatur Boulevard outdoors of a marked or implied crosswalk when he entered the trail of the Tesla.

The influence brought about the person to be thrown off his scooter and onto the roadway, police mentioned. Emergency responders took the person to a close-by hospital, the place he was initially reported to be in important situation with life-threatening accidents.

Police confirmed that the Tesla driver remained on the scene and confirmed no indicators of impairment.

This incident marks the thirty fourth traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2025.
