LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — North Las Vegas’ restaurant row is quickly evolving as new institutions put together to open quickly.
“You shouldn’t have to leave our city for fine dining for a nice place to eat with your family and you don’t have to anymore,” Mayor Professional Tem and Ward 3 Councilman Scott Black stated. “You can have pretty much any option for you and your family to eat here.”
Restaurant row, a hotspot for meals fanatics on Craig Highway in North Las Vegas, thrives with a mixture of nationwide and regional chains alongside domestically owned mom-and-pop eateries.
“We’ve had a scattering of restaurants start out a handful of years ago and then we’ve seen this proliferation of lots of restaurants coming in – many dozen national chains (and) regional chains,” Black stated. “We’re excited about the local small business aspect of it (as well), home-grown businesses.”
Based on Black, restaurant row’s recognition stems from its variety and distinctive accessibility, seamlessly linking residents to eating places each east and west through Interstate 15, in addition to north and south by means of Freeway 11. Moreover, the town helps companies by offering assets by means of its Small Enterprise Connector Heart.
“It’s a one-stop shop resource for people to start a business, grow a small business, focus primarily on minority-owned, women-owned, and Veteran-owned businesses that set up shop here in our city and many of those are restaurants and some of those are on restaurant row,” Black stated.
The middle helps native companies in launching and increasing their operations. At present, 13 new eating places are in numerous phases of improvement alongside restaurant row. Close by, Craig Ranch Regional Park can also be rising, with building underway for six multi-use sports activities fields, creating new alternatives for each residents and enterprise house owners in North Las Vegas.
“People can come from anywhere in Southern Nevada and enjoy the fine dining and opportunities to eat and enjoy our park and the amenities on restaurant Row,” Black stated.
