LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division will obtain a “fleet” of Tesla Cybertrucks to begin patrolling the streets of the valley, the sheriff introduced on the State of the Division tackle.

In accordance with Sheriff Kevin McMahill, the division will likely be receiving 10 Cybertrucks, which will likely be made to seem like LVMPD patrol automobiles and SWAT automobiles.

The sheriff posted what gave the impression to be renderings of what the vans might seem like on his X account, writing “These are bada**.”

McMahill stated not one of the Cybertrucks will come from the division’s funds and have been all donated by an unnamed particular person.

The vans have been introduced as a part of a speech McMahill gave about new know-how coming to the division, together with semi-autonomous drones tied to shot-spotting know-how
