AAPI group drives development in southwest Las Vegas, locals say

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Locals are seeing huge quantities of alternative within the southwest area of the Las Vegas valley, they usually say Asian People and Pacific Islanders are steering the expansion.

When Tiffany Biscoe, proprietor of Tiabi Espresso and Waffle, opened a second location on Rainbow Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue in 2021, she needed to be a part of a thriving space.

“I’m a minority in Asian women, so it’s very empowering, and I love what I do,” Sugiarto stated. “I love meeting everyone in the community, I love getting to know the difference you can make.”
