A Full Moon illuminates the skies at 11 degrees Scorpio on May 1, 2026, setting a tone of deep emotional revelations and potential soulmate connections for the entire month.[1][2] This lunar event, tightly aligned with Venus sextile Saturn, emphasizes commitment, loyalty, and harmonious partnerships amid a complex web of planetary transits. Astrology King has published detailed May 2026 horoscopes segmented by zodiac decans, offering nuanced predictions based on these celestial movements rather than broader house interpretations.[2] With Pluto stationing retrograde and multiple tense squares, the month promises transformation laced with tension.

Decans: The Key to Personalized Astrology

Each zodiac sign spans 30 degrees, subdivided into three decans of roughly 10 degrees each – Decan 1 from 0°00′ to 9°59′, Decan 2 from 10°00′ to 19°59′, and Decan 3 from 20°00′ to 29°59′.[2] This granularity allows astrologers at Astrology King to tailor forecasts by aligning specific transits and moon phases directly to an individual’s sun degree. The result delivers more authentic insights into love, career, and personal growth compared to generic sign-wide readings.

Visitors to the site select their sign and decan for customized outlooks. Pluto’s ongoing transits, for instance, affect various decans differently, fostering soul evolution or intensified control dynamics through 2030 in certain cases.[3] Jupiter’s influence lingers from earlier in the year, promoting prosperity in select decans until mid-May.

Full Moon May 1: Diplomacy, Peace, and Partnership Tests

Occurring at precisely 11°20′ Scorpio, this Full Moon forms a Boomerang Yod with Venus and Saturn, channeling energy toward long-term security in relationships or finances.[1] The Venus-Saturn sextile, exact just 82 minutes later, supports mature bonds, possibly with older partners or mentor figures, while demanding practicality and mutual respect.

Challenges arise from quincunxes between the Moon and Venus or Saturn, potentially stirring family tensions, guilt, or emotional isolation. Fixed stars like Acrux in Crux add layers of perseverance amid mystery and sacrifice. Chinese asterisms suggest themes of fighting spirit alongside chaos, advising clear goals and intuition to navigate karmic lessons successfully.

May 2026 features a packed transit calendar, blending opportunities with friction. Early tensions peak with Mars square Jupiter on May 4 and Mercury square Pluto on May 5, just before Pluto retrogrades at 5° Aquarius on May 6.[2] These could amplify power struggles or bold actions gone awry.
