CCSD college board selects new superintendent

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Clark County Faculty Board of Trustees has voted on a brand new superintendent to guide the fifth-largest college district within the nation.

Jhone Ebert was named the brand new superintendent by a unanimous vote Thursday night throughout a daily college board assembly. The announcement comes after former Superintendent Jesus Jara’s resignation in February 2024.

Ebert’s profession in schooling started 35 years in the past as a CCSD arithmetic instructor. She is the primary girl employed as superintendent for the district, CCSD acknowledged.
