Downtown residents recall 2019 Alpine Motel hearth that killed six

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Residents of downtown Las Vegas recalled the devastation of the Alpine Motel hearth in December 2019, which left six folks useless, 13 injured, and greater than 50 homeless.

“I remember seeing a person in a wheelchair being pushed out of a window—an older person who couldn’t get down from the top floor,” stated Daybreak Bass, a close-by resident.

Zamery Colin, who owns Soluzions 4U, a magnificence salon subsequent door, stated the tragedy stays etched in her reminiscence, despite the fact that the 41-unit property, now known as DLUX Lofts, is working once more.
