The Anaheim Ducks entered Game 4 of their second-round series facing elimination pressure after dropping the first two contests. On Sunday night they responded with a 4-3 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights that leveled the matchup at two games apiece. The win hinged on timely scoring from veteran Alex Killorn and rookie Beckett Sennecke, each of whom finished with a goal and an assist.

Veteran and Rookie Deliver in Tandem

Killorn brought steady leadership and finishing touch to the Ducks lineup. His contributions helped stabilize the team during stretches when momentum threatened to swing back toward Vegas. Sennecke, still early in his professional career, showed the same poise that has marked his arrival in the postseason.

Together the pair accounted for two goals and two assists, giving Anaheim the offensive spark it needed. Their combined production underscored how experience and fresh talent can complement each other under playoff intensity.

Game 4 Shifts the Series Momentum

The 4-3 final score reflected a tightly contested battle that stayed close throughout. Anaheim’s ability to match Vegas goal for goal prevented the Golden Knights from pulling away after their strong start to the series.

By evening the record at 2-2, the Ducks restored balance to a matchup many had expected to tilt heavily in Vegas’s favor. The result forces both teams to adjust their approaches for the remaining games.

What Changes Next for Both Sides

With the series reset, several factors now stand out for the teams moving forward:

• Goaltending consistency will likely decide which side gains the edge in the next two games.
• Special-teams execution remains a critical area after both clubs traded power-play opportunities.
• Depth scoring beyond the top lines could determine who sustains energy over the longer series.

Coaches on both benches will study film for adjustments that exploit the patterns revealed in Game 4.

Playoff Drama Remains Wide Open

The outcome leaves fans with renewed interest in how the remainder of the series will unfold. Neither team has established clear dominance, and every shift carries added weight.

Both clubs now return to their home environments with the knowledge that small margins will continue to separate winners from losers. The series has regained the competitive tension that defines postseason hockey at its best.
