LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A girl died Monday morning after getting hit by a car in a hit-and-run incident within the southwest Las Vegas valley.
The crash occurred round 6:30 a.m. on Jones Boulevard south of Flamingo Street outdoors a marked crosswalk. Authorities say the girl was crossing the road when she was hit by an older mannequin sedan, which left the scene after the crash.
Emergency responders took the girl to a close-by hospital, however she later died as a consequence of her accidents, police mentioned. Her identification has not but been launched.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division’s Deadly Element is investigating the incident. Metro urges commuters to seek out alternate routes.
