Henderson – A monumental residence designed for expansive family life has listed for $14.95 million in the exclusive MacDonald Highlands community. Spanning 17,868 square feet on nearly an acre – a rarity in such a secure, guard-gated neighborhood – the home features eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. Constructed in 2012, the property showcases meticulous craftsmanship tailored to host large gatherings and daily comforts alike.[1][2]
Prime Position and Architectural Grandeur
Listing agent Ivan Sher of IS Luxury highlighted the scarcity of such a generous lot size. “To find an acre in a guard-gated neighborhood, well, find an acre anywhere, but especially in a guard-gated neighborhood, is really tough to come by,” Sher stated. Located at 681 Tranquil Rim Court, the estate welcomes visitors via a pedestrian bridge leading to a private, landscaped courtyard.[1]
A massive glass pivot door opens into a soaring grand foyer, setting a tone of immediate opulence. The home, built by Randy McKee of Elegant Homes with architecture by Quinn Boesenecker of Pinnacle Architectural Studio, reflects thoughtful design from its inception. Original owners commissioned it to suit their sizable family, blending scale with functionality. Dead-on views of the Las Vegas Strip add to its allure from multiple vantage points.
Bedrooms Built for Lavish Comfort
Most of the eight bedrooms stand out for their hotel-suite caliber, offering generous proportions ideal for extended stays. The primary bedroom, positioned on the home’s highest level, includes a dedicated sitting room before the main area. Its two-level closet even features a balcony overlooking the valley below. These spaces prioritize privacy and luxury, accommodating a large household with ease.[2]
“A great majority of their bedrooms are like hotel suites,” Sher noted, emphasizing their massiveness. Each room supports independent living, complete with en-suite bathrooms among the total 11. This configuration appeals to buyers seeking resort-like retreats within their own home. The design ensures no compromise on space or style.

Entertainment and Wellness at Home
The lower level houses a media room equipped with a stage for performances, complete with a side door to a changing room. This family-oriented touch allows young residents to prepare and present without disruption. Nearby, a separate spa and gym area connects via a discreet path, promoting wellness in a dedicated zone. A chef’s kitchen upstairs boasts top-tier appliances, an oversized island, and bar seating for six, perfect for casual or formal entertaining.[1]
Additional highlights include a rotunda library, dining room, and walk-in wine cellar for refined gatherings. Multiple garages provide nine parking spaces, some with lifts for vehicle enthusiasts. A covered outdoor kitchen extends hosting options to the hedged perimeter yard. These elements create a self-contained world of leisure.
Amenities Tailored for Active Lifestyles
Beyond interiors, the estate supports recreation with a full basketball court, inviting outdoor play. The nearly one-acre lot, secured by hedging, offers ample room for relaxation amid manicured grounds. Strip views frame daily life, enhancing the sense of elevation – both literal and figurative – in MacDonald Highlands. Sher described it as one of the city’s most epic properties.[2]
Listed on March 16, the $14.95 million price equates to $837 per square foot, reflecting its premium positioning. Buyers drawn to Henderson’s luxury market will find few matches for this blend of size, security, and sophistication. The home’s family-first origins continue to shine through every feature.
