LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A jury in southern Nevada awarded over 60 victims $3.8 billion on Friday in a lawsuit in opposition to Las Vegas-based firm Actual Water.
The now-bankrupt firm’s product was linked to liver diseases and autoimmune ailments.
In the latest case, a jury discovered Actual Water chargeable for product defects, and reckless disregard for shopper security.
“Real Water marketed itself as a healthy product, but in reality, it was poisoning people. This verdict sends a clear message—companies that put profits over people will face the full force of justice,” Robert Eglet, the lead lawyer, mentioned.
