LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A juvenile carrying a pretend firearm was noticed close to a Las Vegas college, prompting a police investigation.

Based on police, an individual described as a juvenile was seen carrying a firearm close to a faculty in Spring Valley. When officers arrived, they found that the firearm was pretend.

The incident occurred within the 5400 block of Redwood Road, close to Grant Sawyer Center College, though police officers didn’t specify the varsity in query.

Police say there is no such thing as a longer a menace to the varsity and that the investigation is ongoing. Police officers didn’t say whether or not the “juvenile” was a pupil on the close by college, nor did they element what, if any, costs the younger individual would possibly face for carrying the pretend firearm.

It was not instantly clear if the varsity was positioned on lockdown throughout the incident.
