In other words, don’t ever grow old, don’t admit it,” noticed Letizia. “China, Vietnam, India, South America, Cuba even Europe all treat those gaining in their wisdom and getting age in their life as if they are wonderful as opposed to second-class citizens. So I started blogging about this and man did I ever hit a cord.”
Letizia created the Lengthy-Life Period group, devoted to elevating consciousness of ageism and desires to encourage folks to embrace getting older. As a former broadcaster, she mixed her love of public talking and her craft of cooking into her messages.
“From there, I went into the wellness side of food. Seed oils, immediately I understood were bad for you. I did a lot of research,” added Letizia. “So now here on channel 8, my segment is cooking for longevity and I’m currently writing a cookbook with Dr. Jean Bokelmann which is called The Long Life Era, Longevity cookbook because food is medicine.”
Letizia reframing your mindset makes all of the distinction and sees the influence within the lives she’s touched.
“This happened on Saturday and there was a woman in the audience listening and she waited until everyone left the room. She came up to me and grabbed my hand and she said you changed my life. You saved my life, and I said thank you I’m honored. What do you mean?” requested Letizia. “She said I’m 65 and I didn’t believe I would live longer than 65 and I’ve been waiting to die this year because that was the number that was in my head and said my husband was just terrified by it and he made me come listen to you today and I want you to know something. I no longer have a number because I understand that it was there and I didn’t know that before. If nothing comes out of this, I know one life has been changed but the goal is to change everybody’s life. “
