Las Vegas man arrested for tossing canine in dumpster says he 'needed to show him a lesson'

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The person accused of throwing a canine right into a dumpster informed police he grew to become pissed off with the animal and “wanted to teach him a lesson,” in response to paperwork the 8 Information Now Investigators obtained Monday.

Metro police arrested Flores on Thursday after publicly sharing pictures of the incident. Police mentioned they talked to a whole bunch of individuals, together with a neighbor who acknowledged Flores’ SUV. A member of the family of Flores later mentioned they believed the canine was his and the particular person within the video was Flores, paperwork mentioned.

Flores spoke to police, who mentioned that on Monday, April 14, Marley ran away, resulting in a 45-minute search to search out him. Through the search, Flores “fell to the ground… which made him angry.”

Flores additionally mentioned the canine’s conduct upsets a baby in his family, saying, “Marley is so annoying and frustrating that he decided to teach him a lesson,” paperwork mentioned.

“Alexis stated he was so annoyed with ‘Marley’ because he nibbed [sic] his daughter, or attempted to bite her and he wanted to teach him a lesson,” police mentioned. “Alexis stated he knew he ‘[expletive] up’ and he shouldn’t have done that. He admitted that his mindset was not to kill ‘Marley’ but understands that he could’ve died.”

A neighbor discovered the canine on Tuesday, April 15, 8 Information Now reported that day. The canine was recovering and was “doing fine,” police mentioned Wednesday.

Flores posted bond and was on account of return to courtroom in June.
