Las Vegas police, SWAT seen on standby as protesters collect in east valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro police and SWAT had been seen on standby at an illustration that closed a highway within the east Las Vegas valley Monday evening.

A number of hundred protestors had been seen close to Charleston and Lamb boulevards holding Mexican flags in addition to a parade of automobiles driving by in assist.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, SWAT and air items had been seen on the protest on standby. Round 10:40 p.m. police had been heard telling protesters to disperse.

Charleston Boulevard was closed between Lamb Boulevard and Arden Road and police had been seen directing visitors.

It’s unknown presently whether or not the protest is related to the “Day Without Immigrants” protests occurring throughout the nation.
