LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — DUI, rushing, and expired tags are just some of the offenses police mentioned they caught from a Tuesday morning blitz round faculties and faculty zones within the valley.
In response to a Fb submit from the Clark County Faculty District Police Division, round 30 officers from departments across the valley participated within the blitz to assist “keep the speeds slow and the safeties high.”

CCSDPD mentioned a couple of “highlights” from the morning element included a person in Boulder Metropolis who was closed at 52 and paced at 70 in a 35 mph zone simply down the road from the place children had been arriving at a college. When officers pulled him over, he was taken in for DUI, the submit mentioned.

One other driver was rushing by means of a college zone and informed officers she was “on her way to the DMV” when it was revealed she was with out insurance coverage and her short-term registration had been expired since July, along with some warrants, police mentioned.
