MGM agrees to $8.5 million high quality for lapses involving unlawful bookmakers in casinos

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — MGM Resorts Worldwide has agreed to pay an $8.5 million high quality to settle a criticism filed by Nevada gaming regulators involving cash laundering allegations.

The $8.5 million settlement, which could possibly be accredited subsequent week on the April 24 assembly of the Nevada Gaming Fee, is the most recent main step in regulators’ investigations of unlawful bookmakers’ actions at Las Vegas Strip casinos.

“Unsuitable methods of operation” have been cited in a memo posted on X Friday morning by the Nevada Gaming Management Board, the state’s enforcement arm in on line casino regulation.
