Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo urges Trump to finish tariffs on lithium

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo despatched a letter on Monday to President Donald Trump asking for aid from tariffs that threaten to kill lithium manufacturing within the U.S.

Lombardo’s letter famous that Nevada is on the forefront of efforts to arrange home manufacturing that can assist to attain U.S. vitality independence.

Removing the tariffs on lithium will help secure American jobs, strengthen our economy, and support our path toward energy independence,” Lombardo wrote.
