New multi-level housing mission deliberate for Las Vegas Medical District

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Two new multi-level housing models are on the best way for the healthcare group of Las Vegas.

“They’ll be a series of apartment complexes that come into the medical district and we are working with a developer on a number of those units so that they are affordable,” Las Vegas Metropolis Councilman Brian Knudsen stated.

The $80 million mission, might be funded by a mixture of metropolis and federal funds in partnership with the Regional Transportation Fee. The mission will embrace two models, each seven tales every with 400 models complete situated off Tonopah and Alta drives.

“It’s an island of healthcare professionals, surrounded by some of the oldest, most established neighborhoods,” Knudsen added. “It’s impossible for a medical student to afford to live in and around the medical district.”
