Clark County commissioner addresses improve in e-bikes throughout Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A rise in electrical bikes and scooters throughout the Las Vegas valley has grow to be a subject of concern for a lot of residents and was addressed at Tuesday’s county fee assembly.

“Normally, my friends and I try to comply with everyone else and while we do pop wheelies, we do so in a less reckless way compared to what we are seeing normally from others,” Josh mentioned.

His mom Paula has funded his interest and mentioned whereas she does not condone these children disrupting visitors, she needs there have been extra choices within the valley the place these children might experience.

“You just have to hope that your kid isn’t the one who is doing that stuff, so I see both sides. I say give them somewhere to ride and they’ll ride there,” she added.

As for opening a park designated for e-bike riders, Jones did not have any quick plans however mentioned his focus now’s to open a brand new bicycle park off Heat Springs and Fort Apache Highway with the hope of breaking floor this yr.
