Black Canyon trails reopen following emergency closure

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — All trails within the Black Canyon space have now reopened after a short lived closure attributable to excessive warmth and a large-scale rescue involving hikers, based on the Lake Mead Nationwide Park Service (NPS).

The Arizona Sizzling Springs Path and the Goldstrike Path had been shut down after dangerously excessive temperatures led to a number of heat-related emergencies.
