Las Vegas has gained its first professional women’s hockey team. The franchise will begin play at T-Mobile Arena next season. The development expands the city’s sports offerings and gives local fans a new team to follow in the women’s professional ranks.

Official Team Announcement

The confirmation establishes Las Vegas as a permanent home for a women’s professional hockey club. City officials and league representatives have aligned on the move, clearing the way for operations to begin without delay. Fans can now plan around a full schedule of home games at the downtown arena.

This step follows years of growth in women’s hockey across North America. The addition fits into broader efforts to strengthen professional sports infrastructure in Southern Nevada. Local businesses tied to the arena district stand to benefit from increased foot traffic on game nights.

T-Mobile Arena as Home Venue

T-Mobile Arena will serve as the primary site for all home contests. The facility already hosts the NHL’s Golden Knights and has the seating, ice surface, and support systems needed for professional women’s play. Scheduling will coordinate around existing events to maximize use of the building.

Players and staff will have access to the same high-quality training and medical resources available to other teams at the arena. Ticket packages and season passes are expected to go on sale in the coming months. The venue’s central location makes attendance convenient for residents across the Las Vegas Valley.

Timeline and Next Steps

Preparations are underway for the team’s first season, which opens next year. Roster construction, coaching hires, and marketing campaigns will accelerate in the months ahead. The league has set a clear path for the club to join the regular schedule without interruption.

Community outreach programs are also in development to introduce the sport to new audiences. Youth clinics and school partnerships will help grow interest at the grassroots level. The arrival of the team marks a steady expansion of professional hockey options for the region.
