Maps present BLM's plan to promote 5,500 acres in 8 small cities northeast of Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A proposal to promote public lands unfold out amongst a number of small cities northeast of Las Vegas is getting individuals fired up on social media.

The Lincoln County cities of Alamo, Caliente, Crestline, Hiko, Panaca, Pioche, Mt. Wilson and Rachel are the websites recognized in a doc launched by the U.S. Bureau of Land Administration (BLM). A mixed 5,500 acres throughout 66 plots of land had been chosen because the BLM will get able to open up land to adjust to the Lincoln County Conservation, Recreation and Improvement Act of 2004.
