CCSD faculty board selects new superintendent

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Clark County Faculty Board of Trustees has voted on a brand new superintendent to steer the fifth-largest faculty district within the nation.

Jhone Ebert was named the brand new superintendent by a unanimous vote Thursday night throughout a daily faculty board assembly. The announcement comes after former Superintendent Jesus Jara’s resignation in February 2024.

Ebert’s profession in training started 35 years in the past as a CCSD arithmetic instructor. She is the primary girl employed as superintendent for the district, CCSD said.

The Clark County Training Affiliation (CCEA) congratulated CCSD trustees for his or her efforts in deciding on the brand new superintendent and launched the next assertion Thursday night.
