Significant Traffic Backup
Most southbound lanes closed following the fatal wreck, forcing drivers into a single right lane.[1] The restriction persisted through the investigation, which extended into midday. Commuters encountered delays on this major Southern California route.
ABC7 traffic logs captured the ongoing impact around Jurupa Avenue. Only minimal passage remained available as crews worked.[1]
Probe Continues Without Clear Cause
Investigators from the California Highway Patrol examined the scene Tuesday morning. They offered no preliminary findings on factors behind the collision. The case developed as more information awaited release.[1]
Drivers should monitor updates from CHP and local traffic reports. Such incidents highlight persistent risks on high-volume freeways like the I-15.
