Details of the Arrest and Probe
The arrest occurred in West Hollywood as part of a broader inquiry into alleged extortion activities. Investigators have focused on claims that the model used online meetings to approach potential victims and then sought payments under threat of exposure or other pressure. Cloobeck’s involvement stems from his personal relationship with the woman at the center of the accusations. Law enforcement has not released additional specifics on charges filed against him at this stage, though the connection places him squarely within the scope of the ongoing examination.
Las Vegas Ties and Local Interest
For readers in Southern Nevada, the development carries particular weight because of Cloobeck’s longstanding role in the region’s business community. Diamond Resorts grew into a significant employer and economic contributor under his leadership, linking his personal matters to wider conversations about prominent local figures. The case also highlights how personal relationships can intersect with legal scrutiny in high-profile circles. Observers note that such incidents often draw scrutiny to the private conduct of individuals whose public profiles extend across state lines.
