Studio City – Authorities have released additional photographs of two suspects wanted in connection with a residential burglary that turned violent on May 8. The incident unfolded just after noon in the 4200 block of Denny Avenue, where one of the intruders used bear spray against a Good Samaritan who attempted to intervene. Homeowners were not present during the break-in, yet the brazen daytime crime has prompted renewed calls for public help in identifying the pair. The new images provide clearer views of the individuals involved and underscore the urgency of the investigation. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward as the case remains active.

The Sequence of Events on May 8

The burglary occurred in a quiet residential neighborhood during the middle of the day. Suspects entered the property while residents were absent, taking advantage of the empty home to carry out the theft. A Good Samaritan who noticed the activity and tried to stop the intruders was met with bear spray, an act that escalated the situation quickly. The use of the chemical irritant left the witness in distress and allowed the suspects to flee the scene. No injuries beyond the spray exposure were reported, but the event has left neighbors shaken by how openly it happened in broad daylight.

Why the Latest Photos Matter

The newly released images build on earlier descriptions and offer better angles of the suspects’ appearances and clothing. Investigators hope these details will jog memories or prompt tips from residents who may have seen the pair in the area before or after the crime. Public cooperation has already played a role in similar cases, and authorities are emphasizing that even small observations could prove valuable. The release signals that the probe is ongoing and that detectives continue to pursue every lead available.

Looking Ahead in the Investigation

Detectives are reviewing the new photographs alongside any existing surveillance footage from nearby properties. The focus remains on locating the suspects before they can strike again in the neighborhood or elsewhere. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity promptly. As the investigation progresses, updates will be shared through official channels to keep the community informed. The incident serves as a reminder that even routine daytime hours require attention to unusual behavior around homes.
