Nevada unemployment sticks at 5.7% in December as claims enhance, DETR says

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Nevada’s unemployment fee remained at 5.7% in December as preliminary claims for unemployment advantages elevated, in accordance with the Division of Employment, Coaching and Rehabilitation (DETR).

Nevada has the very best unemployment fee within the nation, simply forward of Washington, D.C., (5.6%), California (5.4%) and Illinois (5.3%), in accordance with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics rankings from November 2024.
